Resilience

Transparent moment: I have multiple sclerosis. I found out in 2021 when I went blind in my left eye (optic neuritis) 1 month before my wedding. I was healed within 3 days (compared to them saying it may take 6 weeks) so my vision is fine now (unless I get stressed out, or in heat about 85° it blurs a bit).

My strongest symptom is fatigue because I take Kesimpta (which costs $8000 per month, I’m blessed to get funded for that) and one of the side effects is severe fatigue. I take it once a month and it suppresses my immune system and start it over again from 0% of having an immune system. It has affected my business. While I struggle with certain things: I still push through.

Dealing with my MS and my recently 25 yr old paralyzed daughter is a CHALLENGE! But with God’s will…I remain strong enough to take care of everyone. I even got a certificate as an CNA because I skipped all of the testing, took the test, and I got a 93% (80% is needed to pass). Yall know a bītch smart.

Just know this life is still new to me, so if I act strange it’s my MS and this new life I have medically for my family, not my undeniable love for you. 🫶🏽🩵

💜Thank you for your time and for always loving me and understanding. Thank you Jesus!🙏🏽
