The people that always preach about “not giving a fuck”… really do give a fuck. Pay close attention to their actions. “I don’t give a fuck!!!” – While posting blogs, tweets, videos & mass emails wanting to know how people feel about you. Blowing up their phone & sending them text messages over & over again, with no response, whilst preaching about “not giving a fuck”. Being highly sensitive, spazzing out over the smallest things, bitching about minuscule events that occur… yeah you sure don’t “give a fuck” alright. Always playing the victim, always wanting to be heard, hate being misunderstood, can’t handle the truth. Nope, you “don’t care”.
Here’s a hint: People that truly don’t give a fuck, are the silent ones. The ones who exude strength & refrain from complaint. There’s nothing wrong with caring. However, the problem starts when you feel guilty about it and try to hide it from others.

Amen to this. I used to be just like this. Always saying I didn’t care. Then one day I stopped and now all I will say is just how affected I am by what people think. Not that that is any better. But, I am aware of myself, and I’m working on changing it.

Sounds just like the people on my Facebook news feed. Attention seeking whilst ‘not giving a fuck’…right okay then why put up a status about it for EVERYONE to see?

This is something I do a lot of. I agree with you for the most part, especially when you say that the problem starts once you start feeling guilty & try to hide it from others. That’s a big problem for me as much as I hate to admit it. However, I disagree with your point about playing the victim. If a person is claiming that he or she doesn’t give a fuck, it’s apparent that they don’t, in fact, want pity. The truth can hurt, but it’s something I believe in. That’s why sometimes I personally end up going off of the deep end because that’s exactly what I want- the truth. Maybe my paranoia gets the best of me? We can’t read people over the internet & a lot of assumptions are usually made.

This is so true… People who really don’t care, are the one’s that don’t say anything at all. And the fact that people who say this are always playing the victim because they want to be heard really drives me crazy. Why they can’t just say the truth they care and stop hiding who they really are is beyond my understanding.
