I actually love it when I get hated on because it shows me I'm doing something right, right? I don't have time for the scathing-behind-the-back comments/digs and all the ra ra that goes along with it.
As long as I'm out there making my money and filling my belly with all the nutrients I need, they can stay there.

I think you should know that you are helping me a lot with your posts. And probably other persons too. It's the first time when I'm writing you.
When I feel down, I always find the answers in your posts. Somehow your answers always match with my questions.
You're a great woman. I wish there would be more people like you, in other countries from other continents too.
You're my favorite blogger!
XOXO

:exclaimation: Wow...lovin this blog!

You know women in general are going to always have something to say regardless. As I continue to say, most women that harbour those feelings usually aren't jealous because of looks but moreso because the person may have chracteristics she desires...for example...a lady that's pretty but has a great personality (they aren't mad cause she's pretty, they are mad cause her attitude doesn't suck...therefore making her a better person than what they want to see)

I knew people would start blaming Obama for the way things are happening. I saw it coming. Just because he's the first Black President AND he's a Democrat. People are never satisfied in this country. They voted for Bush and he screwed this country over majorly. It's a shame.

OMG I love you & I don't even know you. I agree wholeheartedly with your post.

I personally dont get involved with people at work. I'm not mean or anything but I dont get a job to make friends either. If they become friends fine, if they dont like me, oh well. All I care about is my direct deposit on pay day.

You know these same corporations they bailed out are still failing & going bankrupt. I think it would be so much cheaper to bail out tax payers who are apart of the middle/working class. These are the people with debts. If you help the people eliminate or heavily minimize their debts then they won't have a problem buying homes, cars, clothes, etc. It makes no sense to bail out companies when no one can still afford to spend money for extraneous things. You have to debate whether to put gas in your car or buy food, or pay bills, or go do this & that. People aren't living comfortably anymore, so buying cars, & blowing money at the mall all the time is the last thing on their minds. We are ridiculous. The American dollar is practically useless.

Yes, people are really stupid. Obama has nothing to do with America's situation & he isnt going to be able to clean up Bush's mess in his first year in office, let alone his first term. It is extremely hard to clean up 8 years worth of problems. He has so much pressure & people are just looking for him to fail anyway. I believe that after he's had 3 years in office, we'll be able to actually see a bit of change for the better.

I agree that it's a good idea to take at least one day off per month. It's something I never really thought was all that important until the time came when I was so busy that more than three months had gone by without my having one day off to do nothing. *lol* Crazy.

There's a lot in your post to which I can respond, Chanel. So, I'll give it a go.

It's human nature to make presumptions re:others. Not saying it's right or fair, but, it's how we as human beings sort each other out. Perhaps we need to be more discriminating in our relationships with others, and less open-minded and flexible. It's not always a good thing. Or, give oneself time to get to know others, with cautious optimism. While I do believe in empathy and compassion on the job, too much can make work messy.

Re: President Obama: He's trying to do too much too soon. He needs to prioritize, and work on the most critical issues first. I do, however, that people, especially Black people, are putting a lot on his shoulders. He is, after all, a man, a human being. Perhaps Black folks were walking a little taller on Nov. 5th, but, it's up to each individual to make her life what she wants it to be.

The workplace: I personally try to keep things on a professional level with my colleagues, and try to not become too socially intertwined with folks. That's not to say that there isn't a colleague or two with whom I socialize. But, I believe friends on the job can make workplace issues that much more complicated. Been there, done that, got the t-shirt, as they say.

That is all for now.

People are just miserable and want to put the blame on someone else. It doesn't even make sense most of the time. I didn't realize how much people try to put the blame on others for their misery and for their mistakes. People really need a reality check, before somebody like me check they ass and put them in their place.

And somebody is always trying to find something wrong with Obama, I was in the grocery store the other day. & seen this cover of this tabloid talking about "gay scandal". SMH the things people will do....
