I couldn’t have said it any better. The reality of life is that it is what you make of it. If you are dead broke with no money, but you have a GREAT circle of people who love you around, appreciate them. A few years ago, I was given a cd / book called “Secret” by Rhonda Byrne (i’m sure that many of you have heard of it) and I HIGHLY recommend it. Anyways, it is all about bringing things to reality. Not wishing, but willing things to happen. After sleeping with it in my ipod and listening to it in the car, the message has been engraved in m y mind since then. And I must say, it has made me a better person.

Keeping a positive attitude can do wonders if one allows it to. Reading things like Secret and this blog are great starters to a day. No one knows you better than you, so no one should want to see you happier than yourself. Look in the mirror and enjoy your reflection…you deserve it ;-).

I always say that if there is something about myself that I can’t change, like the size of your nose or something, then I don’t worry about it. It’s part of me and it’s not going away so I might as well learn to live with it.

As for people who complain, I never feel sorry for those who complain who have the power to change what it is they are complaining about. If they complain to me about something, I tell them to fix it. But they are generally too lazy and they don’t want to hear the advice on how to make that change happen.

Wow, that was profound! I agree with you on everything. I also believe that you shouldn’t whine when you had a chance to do something about whatever you are whining about (I mean, I didn’t study all day, but I’m not going to complain when I fail my exam). Life can be difficult but you’re right that we should be thankful for whatever we do have. There’s always someone worse off than you. ALWAYS. :)
