FAQ

Here’s a list of common questions/emails I get. They’re not quite the norm I must say. But have no fear! I shall answer them all!

Q: How do you stay so strong and in control of yourself?
A: Don’t get it twisted, I lose control too. We all have our times when we fall apart and not feel strong. But what makes you move on is actually the inner strength you always had within. Just learn how to channel that same energy into bettering yourself and surviving out of your worst. I channel mine through sex, drugs and rock & roll.

Q: You always use your own picture for a layout. Are you conceited?
A: Who else you want me to use on my site? You?

Q: OMG, how can I make a website? Can you show me how?
A: OMG Sure!!! Step By Step Instructions

Q: I heard that you __________. Is that true?
A: Yup, it’s all true. That will always be my answer. I’ve realized that no matter what you say, people will still believe what they want. Regardless if the truth is staring right in your face. During my tenure on the world wide web, I’ve learned that people will judge you according to what was told to them. So why bother prove myself to anyone?

Q: I can’t stand you.
A: Oh.

Q: I don’t see what’s the big deal about you & your site. Every time I come here I’m not impressed.
A: Ok. So why you keep coming back?

Q: Why you don’t approve all of your comments to be posted?
A: I am all for a healthy debate. If you disagree with me, by all means, feel free to express such. But discriminatory & anonymous comments I will not allow. I wasn’t a coward by putting my opinions and point of view on display so neither should you be. Don’t be a punk bitch about it.

Q: Why you seem like a bitch?
A: Because you’re intimidated by an opinionated woman.

Q: Wow, I love the ____ that you used for your layout. Can you tell me the name of it and where you got it from?
A: No.

Q: What initially interested you in becoming a webmaster & what motivates you to remain blogging?
A: After dabbling around in AOL Hometown pages, I wanted to expand and learn how to make my own layouts & graphics. I downloaded Adobe Photoshop and it was a wrap from there. Viewing so many of my peers out there doing the same motivated me even more. I wanted to do what they did. Then I started getting a lot more feedback for my blogs than my actual designs. It felt good knowing that my website has helped many through some rough times in their life. I hold that feeling very close to my heart, which is why I continue to blog.

Q: Girl, let me tell what _____ said about you…
A: Actually don’t. I’m well above that & frankly, I don’t care.

Q: I can’t find your credits page. Did you credit Robin Nicholas for using Arial font?
A: Get a life.

Q: Why don’t you ever reflect on your experiences as a mother or post pictures of your daughter?
A: There are certain things in my life I like to keep private. My daughter’s pictures, my relationship with her father, and my trials and tribulations as a mother are a few of them.
